Poetry: Books
Shanta Acharya’s poems were published initially in major Indian journals during the 1970s. In the mid-1990s, her first two collections appeared – Not This, Not That in India in 1994 and Numbering Our Days’ Illusions in the UK in 1995. Her third and fourth collections, Looking In, Looking Out and Shringara, were published in the UK in 2005 and 2006. In 2010, Arc Publications, UK, brought out her fifth book of poetry, Dreams That Spell The Light. In 2017, HarperCollins, India, published her sixth poetry collection, Imagine: New and Selected Poems. Her latest, What Survives Is The Singing, was published by Indigo Dreams Publishing (UK) in 2020.
